Napoleon Dynamite? Not so much...

Tonight after dinner my husband did the dumbest thing I've ever seen him do. He was trying to be dramatic or something and just ended up backwashing into the bottle of root beer! Remember in Napoleon Dynamite when he throws the bottle of gatorade back really fast and starts drinking it? Well, that's what Josh did... only with a 2 liter bottle of root beer. I have no idea what he was thinking but it's the hardest I've laughed in a long time. He keeps saying "I didn't think it would fizz that much!" Are you serious?!

Pumpkin Patch!!

Sunday we finally made it to the pumpkin patch! It was so much fun. It was the first time I've ever been to one... Fallyn too. She had a blast but she wouldn't make up her mind on which pumpkin she wanted. It was like me with shoes lol. Here's a couple of pictures from our little outing.

So, Friday afternoon I got the my unit's 2 and 3 for school. I was so excited. I tried to start on them last night but was just so tired for some reason. But then at bedtime I couldn't sleep. UGH! I hate that. Even meds aren't helping me fall asleep. So, I started on my classes this morning. I don't listen to the audio tapes (cd's) they send me cuz the Dean reminds me of Ben Stein. So, I just skim through the books and answer the questions on the test. I guess I should start actually reading the whole thing instead cuz the frist 2 tests I've only scored a 90. The sad thing is, it's open book lol. So it pisses me off. But some of the questions aren't answered very clearly in the books so I usually google them and see where that takes me. I've decided I'm just going to be an A- student lol. So after I finished that we were planning on taking Fallyn to the pumkin patch. Well, she ended up sleeping too late and by the time we found where the place was we realized it would be dark by the time we got there. So, we'll try again tomorrow.

This evening we ended up going to eat at Larry's BBQ. The first time we went, it sucked. The food sucked and the service sucked... well... The waitress was just straight up rude. So we had decided not to go there anymore until one day I was meeting Josh at his work to go to lunch. We were talking to one of his co-workers about what all they had just out of the Daleville gate and she was listing them all off and when she came to Larry's we were both like, eh, no. And she asked why so we told her. Well, I guess we just ended up ordering the wrong thing. She said they're pretty much known for their pork and beef. So, we decided to go back a couple of weeks ago. The food was way better and the service was ok. The waitress must have been new or didn't understand what we were talking about. I wanted a chopped beef sandwhich and she was like we have sliced beef... ok whatever just bring me something to eat... Tonight we went back and everything was just right... and the best thing about it, Fallyn actually didn't act a fool!

After we ate, we stopped at walmart to get beer then headed home. On the way, Josh saw a cop and yells out in a stupid voice "Oh no, po-po" and from the backseat Fallyn yells out "PO-PO!" It was the cutest thing. Now she's digging dog food out of the bag and putting in their bowls and giving it to them. It's cute, but she's not supposed to be doing it. And there is dog food all over my kitchen floor lol. *Sigh* I'll clean it later. But for now, it's her bedtime so I must get going.

Finally got my Unit 1 review back!!

So, about a month ago I started taking courses at NYIP to build on my photography skills. I submitted my Unit 1 photo project a few weeks ago and finally got my review back today!! The pics are below... and because I'm an idiot and I can't get the audio player to work right, there is a link to the audio file lol. Now I'm just waiting to get my unit 2 course work. Hopefully it will be here soon!!

Glad this week is over!

So, this week I've been sick again. I thought I was getting over it and then Monday or Tuesday it hit again. I'm thinking I now have an ear infection. I'm going to the Dr. in a little bit so hopefully I'll be over this mess soon.

I had a job interview yesterday... I thought it all went well. Still haven't heard anything from the lady. She said she would call this morning and let me know....

ok so here it is 6pm. I'm just now finishing this cuz the computer messed up earlier... The Dr says I have an ear infection in both ears and strep. Totally sucks. I have no fever though. So that's good. Kinda ruins our plans for taking Fallyn to the pumpkin patch tomorrow... We'll see what happens.

And I never got a call back about the job. So, it's pretty much been a crappy week lol.

Whew, my daughter wears me out

So, this morning I wake up. Fallyn is grouchy and ugh, I don't want to deal with it. I was already planning on taking her to daycare this morning so Josh and I could have a little alone time for a little bit today. I get to the daycare and drop her off and as I'm walking out of the main room, I happen to look down by the t.v. and what do I see? OH EM GEE, A SEGA GENESIS!! My first thought is OMG I so wanna play, my second is I wonder if they have Sonic the Hedgehog, then I realize I better get the heck outta here before my daughter realizes I'm still there and starts crying. So, I head home and waste the rest of the day. This evening we all went to my husband's co-workers house to "help" another co-worker work on his motorcycle. He pretty much just sat there drinking beer while I chased Fallyn all over the place. I did have a chance to go out and do my own thing tonight but decided not to since I'm not a fan of dancing or big crowds. Especially with people I don't know all that well yet. I finally got tired of chasing Fallyn all over so I put her back in the car and we went to get something to eat. Poor thing was fussy the whole time :( and I wanted to pull my hair out lol. So, we get food, go back to friend/co-workers place and eat. Then Fallyn decides she wants to try to help with the bike... cutest little thing... but we don't have the money to pay for a new paint job on a bike lol. We decided we better leave before something ends up going wrong. Now we're home. Fallyn should be pretty wore out after all the running around she's done. I know I am from chasing her. But chasing her around tonight was better than just 10 minutes on my manual treadmill... that thing is killer on my shins!!! Fallyn is about to be off to bed and I'm headed to the back porch to spend some "quality" time with the hubby.

So, after 2 weeks or so, I've finally figured out what to call this thing. Thanks for helping me figure it out Brandy :)

Well, welcome to this crazy place called my life. Hopefully I'll be posting more soon. As for now, I'm off to bed since it's currently 12:40 in the morning.
