Back to school, back to school....

School has officially started again this week. I had a 6 day class about 2 weeks ago. So, I'm only taking 3 classes during this semester since I'm finished with the 6 day one. I'm hoping these classes are super easy and I'll get A's in them so I can keep my 3.5gpa. The 6 day class was public speaking. As of right now I have a C in that class because she hasn't graded our speeches yet. I'm also taking business English, Microcomputer Applications (word, excel, powerpoint, access) and beginning keyboarding. Business English I thought would be hard but it looks like its just going to be another refresher English class. I got my book today for this class.. they sent me the teachers edition!! OOPSIE! I ordered the right one though. They just sent the wrong one. Computer apps should be really easy to except I've never worked with access. And I know I'll get an A in keyboarding. I mean really why should I even take this class?? Well, other than the fact that it's in my degree plan.... I've been typing anywhere between 65-85 words per minute on my assignments!

So, along with going to school I'm also being pressured to find a job. I've talked to the school about the work/study program but I haven't heard anything back yet. It just seems so hard to find anything that's going to work around my school schedule (1-3 m/w and 11-3 t/th) AND something that will allow me some time to spend with my family. Not that we ever do anything fun or exciting anyways... I don't know... Maybe I should find something that has some pretty crazy hours that way Josh has to be the one that drops Fallyn off in the morning and picks her up in the evening and has to come home and make dinner... after he's run all over town doing my errands like I have to do for him during my down time since I'm not currently working. I swear he won't take any personal time for himself to do anything during work hours... for example, today. I had to go take his truck to get an estimate done on it since the idiot at Lowes decided to drop the stop sign on the hood. Why couldn't he go do this during work??? Or um, LAST FRIDAY WHEN HE WAS OFF WORK!?! Everyone else he works with gets to leave early for lunch or come back late from lunch to go do this or that... *sigh* I don't think he realizes how much I do for him while he's slaving away at work and I don't think he's thought about how he's going to handle it if I do get a job.... I guess we'll see what happens. I better start looking harder for a job... cuz we're broke and we both just got paid! EEK

If we didn't have bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all

Sunday, Fallyn is broken out with a rash that appears to be chickenpox (luckily it ended up only being an allergic reaction to something) A transformer blows a couple of blocks over and fries our dryer. UGH! Tonight we went to Lowes and bought a new dryer. We drive around to the back where they have the lumber yard and all the other junk. We pull up to the gate and the attendant takes our receipt, opens the gate, tells us which bay to go to to pick up the new dryer, we pull forward and the attendant closes the gate. On the hood of the truck. Crap. And all he says is "oh, oops" ugh you old ass! stop thinking about sandwhiches and pay attention to your job! We pull around to the bay we're supposed to pick up the dryer at, thinking someone would be there to pull it for us, nope no one there. We also checked the dent/scratch the stupid attendant had just put in the hood. I've been in a crappy mood all day so I get out my phone, look up the number for the Lowes that we're at, call it, and talk to a manager that doesn't sound very pleased at all. We ended up filing an incident report. Now we're just waiting for our insurance to get in touch with them or whatever needs to happen in order for us to not have to pay the damn deductibe and make Lowes pay for it. Hopefully they do. I swear it's just one thing after another. Hopefully our luck will start getting better soon cuz I don't know how much more of this I can take!

Oh how I hate stupid people..

So this girl I know just had a baby and it is or isn't her husbands. No one thinks it's her husbands. Her husband doesn't even think it's his. He apparently knows the baby's blood type and between their two blood types there's no way the baby could have the blood type that he has... and supposedly the girl doesn't know that the husband knows this. Anyways... this dumb cunt (excuse the language but I really wanted to put her in her place last night... keep reading, you will too) So, I'm at their house last night with Josh while he's helping the guy work on his truck. Fallyn is there with us too. Anyways, this girl is outside smoking and drinking and not wanting to take care of her baby. I ended up feeding him twice and dumb cunt fed him about 45 min before I decided to leave. While I was trying to get Fallyn out the door and into the car, the baby had started crying again so I went to check on him, gave him his binky back and walked to the front door. In that short amount of time, he had spit out his binky and started screaming. Poor little guy was hungry again. I told dumb cunt that the baby was back there screaming again and she starts throwing a fit like "what is wrong with him I just fed him like 3o min ago." I so wanted to tell this bitch if she didn't want to take care of her kid, I would be glad to take him so she could party and do whatever the hell she wanted besides being a mother to her 2 week old son. Sometime in the night she had decided that I was going to be staying there and getting drunk with her. Which wouldn't have bothered me but 1. I don't drink to get drunk and didn't want to play her stupid drinking games. 2. I only drink when I'm at home and 3. I had dogs to take care of a home and a child that won't sleep at their house. So, I left.

Yesterday (may 3rd), Josh and I were running around like crazy dropping the truck off to get the oil changed, applying for tags for the new car and taking the stereo out of the mustang... in the pouring ass rain. We ended up having to pick up "the husband" and take him home after he dropped his truck off at the dealership. I had left some tupperware at their house a couple of weekends ago and went inside to get it, when I walk in I notice that dumb cunt is no where to be seen, the spare bedroom light is on with the door shut and the baby is on the couch by himself... this spare bedroom also happens to be the one she uses to smoke pot in... I don't know if that's what she was doing but one could only assume so. EEEEFFFFF!! I swear if it wasn't for her husband being there, I would call CPS.

I'm so excited! and I just can't hide it!!

I got a new car today :) I was sad to see the mustang go but, we needed to get something that was better for the family. The mustang was just so cramped. Poor Fallyn would have to put her feet up into her car seat if someone was sitting in the passenger seat. And it was so hard to get her in and out of there. I now have a 2010 Nissan Altima and I couldn't be more happy with it. I was looking at a Ford Fusion to begin with but Ford didn't want to work with me any. So, peace out. I went to Nissan. They gave me over 3000 more for trade in than Ford was trying to give me. A whole 5000 bucks ugh! Thanks, but no. I had to go with the best offer in order to keep my payments where we could afford them. Anyways.... I gotta go pick up the house some. A friend and his wife and the wife's baby are coming over. oh geez there's a long story... maybe I'll post about that tomorrow after the art show :)

First time for everything

Lunch was rather interesting today. Josh insisted we go to Pizza Hut (gross) . I know I'm totally not American because I don't like pizza... or hot dogs. I'll eat them occasionally but it's not my first choice for a meal.

So, off to Pizza Hut we go. We get in there and their buffet/salad bar is practically non-existent! There was only about 12 pieces of pizza and absolutely no salad.at.all. They didn't even replace the salad until after I had eaten 2 slices of pizza and about 5 cinnamon stick things. Anyways, that's not what this story is about.... There is a guy there. Extremely flaming. And dressed in what reminds me of Sailor Moon. But now that I think about it, he was dressed more like Where's Waldo since he had on a red and white striped shirt. For some reason what he was wearing just reminded me of a sailor I guess. He also had bleached blond hair and the most annoying voice EVER! I don't think I've ever hear a gay southern guy. It reminded me of that pothole geico commercial. He had a little bit of a deeper voice though.... not by much. I can't even remember anything the guy was talking about but once he finally left, the building was so quiet.

This evening when I was picking Fallyn up from daycare, she decided to lock me out of the car. I was about to put her in her car seat when I noticed that she had left some chocolate in her seat and it was melted. So while I cleaned it out she climbed up into the front passenger seat and started pushing buttons, and locked the door. I get done cleaning her seat, put her in it, shut the door and walk to the drivers side to get in.... it's locked. CRAP! I walk back over to the passenger side and of course it was locked too. I don't know why I was thinking it would be unlocked. Silly me. So, I go back in to the daycare and call Josh to have him bring me my spare. Ugh! Luckily the car was running and the a/c was on while Fallyn was in the car so I wasn't too worried about being locked out.

oh yeah

I turned 25 last saturday! ZOMG! The first thing I checked was my insurance lol. Then I realized I'm finally able to rent a car! OMG lol. lets hope I never need to unless insurance is paying for it lol

super duper busy...

It's been crazy around here lately. School is hectic. Well, not really. But my economics teacher has been sick and in the hospital for the past couple of weeks and we had our test today... while he's still in the hospital. Some other teacher came in and gave it to us. Yes I've had everything I've needed to get an A on the test but how does it help if I'm not sure if I'm studying it correctly? or if I even understand it. I took 4 practices quizzes and missed half of the questions on all of them, so apparently I'm not doing something right. It's the only class really giving me problems. The other two are super easy, luckily.

So that's basically my life right now.. school and Fallyn. I've made some new friends though. And it's nice to be able to talk to people other than a 2 year old lol. And I've been getting out more since we moved here (Alabama). There's some girls that Josh works with that make me go out with them sometimes. I used to refuse all the time cuz they're a few years younger than me and they're still single and don't have kids so I thought, what in the world would we have in common. Well, we're all chicks lol that's what we have in common. We like to gossip, eat, go shopping and cause a bunch of chaos. Ahhh, life is great lol. And because of this, I have become addicted to nail polish. Just yesterday I bought 4 new bottles lol. 3 colors and 1 base/top coat. Since the first of the year I've probably bought 13 to 14... not including what I bought yesterday... but let's not let Josh know ;)

Josh is back in Iowa right now. His brother is currently going through a nasty divorce and custody battle. Poor guy. I hope it comes out in his favor. That dumb _______ (please feel free to fill in any derogatory name) She's pretty much lied through the whole trial. But, every story has two sides... only her side has a lot, lot, lot of holes and woe is me and I'm the victim yadda yadda. Ugh. I really hope the judge can see through her BS. He has 60 days to make up his mind so, I guess we'll find out in 60 days what his answer is....

busy busy busy

I feel like I've just been running, running, running, and running some more here lately. I wish with all this 'running' I could lose some weight lol. Yesterday was my very first test as a college student. I take that back... it was my first test in 7 years as a college student. 7 freakin years! Geez, I can't believe it's been that long. I'm glad I waited to go back to school though. I wish I would have waited to begin with since I'm more motivated to do it now and I don't have to worry about boys since I'm already married. The only problem I was with studying, especially this week, is when Josh is gone, I have no one to help me with Fallyn. Luckily, She'll go to bed somewhat early enough for me to get in about an hour of study time. And, I get up early enough to study before class. IDK why I get there anywhere from an hour to 45 minutes before class starts. I think it's a good thing though. Better to be early than to be late. Have I already blogged about this??? Gah, I'm so out of it lately I can't remember what I do anymore lol.

getting organized...

I really need to get more organized for school. I'm taking 12 hours (full time). 3 "real" classes and 2 super stupid ones lol. They're just a friday and saturday class and you get 1 credit hour for them. This past weekend was Internet. Next weekend is troubleshooting. But the other 3 classes, shew, my stuff is everywhere. Economics, luckily, is just a fill in the blank hand-out type thing instead of having a book and having to take notes. English and art aren't that way though. Art especially. I should have been taking notes this whole time and I just haven't. I figured I could just go through later and read through all the chapters that I needed to go over.... We'll see how well that works out for me after our test on tuesday, cuz I haven't gone over anything at all. English isn't too hard, it's just a matter of keeping everything together and in one place. I'm usually pretty good about it but for some reason, I've totally lost it this semester. I just throw everything in my bag and never look at it again until the next class. Maybe with Josh being gone this week I can kind of get it together since I won't have to worry about feeding him too. Just me and Fallyn. I just hope she doesn't drive me to the point of insanity while he's gone.

update

It has been hectic around here since the holidays. I started school last week. I decided to major in business with a concentration in retail, sales and marketing. I started off taking 16 hours this semester. I don't know what I was thinking. 2 of my classes were online and the first 2 days of class I couldn't even get logged into them. By the time I could, I was already behind so I dropped them and picked up two 1 hour weekend classes. I'll go from 5 to 10 on Friday and 8 to 4 on Saturday and I'm done with those classes. Monday and Wednesday I take economics and Tuesday and Thursday i have english and art. My english teacher drives me insane with the way she talks. She's originally from Alabama and talks like a hick. She pronounces "on" like "own". I can't stand it at all. My art class isn't too bad. I've only gone 1 day because of changing my schedule around. My art teacher is also the photography teacher... so I have a feeling we might get along quite well. I hope anyways lol. I've also joined a club. The Weevil Eye College Newspaper. Hoping to be the photography for the news paper... We'll see what happens. There's only 3 of us really interested in it so, I'm not sure how well it's going to turn out this semester. It just got started last semester and didn't really do much. Hopefully this semester will be better.

I finally got transferred to another unit here in Alabama. It took like 4 or 5 months! Holy hell. I have drill next weekend ugh. I have to drive up to Montgomery. Luckily I know someone here in the area that is also in the unit, so we can carpool together. The unit is supposed to be deploying in August/Sept sometime I think. Luckily when I joined the reserves I signed a 24 month stabilization. So I won't be going anywhere anytime soon :D unless I want to... and I don't really want to lol. I was thinking about trying to get promoted and go back on active duty but I really want to finish school. I'll still be able to finish if I'm back on active duty but I won't be able to go full time.

So, this is my little update for now. Maybe now that I've somewhat caught up since being on vacation I will start posting more.... Especially since I'm out of the house Tues-Thurs... I see the silliest shit on campus. Like last Thursday this guy was wearing his pants tucked into his cowboy boots.. I wondered if he was trying to follow the whole Ugg trend or if he just didn't know how to dress. I like to get there about 45 min early so I can "people watch" lol. We'll have to see what happens tomorrow and I'll have to blog about it :)

Bout time I updated this

Christmas vacation was fun, minus the frigid cold weather we had in Iowa. Josh was finally able to spend some time with his brother... well, we all were able to spend more time with his brother lol. Kinda a long story and I probably shouldn't talk about it here.... Fallyn was able to spend some time with her cousins. She had a blast hanging out with them. They weren't too sure of her at first. She was an intruder lol. They get to be the only ones with their grandparents all the time and Fallyn hasn't been up there since she was about 6 months old. But they finally warmed up to each other... Then they ended up in the cabinets...
Then Grandma Anderson's BdayThen Christmas.... (left to right, Fallyn, Sven, Addie and Cooper) Cooper's Bday...And finally, Fallyn's bday... Between christmas and birthdays we were busy everyday!!
